She does not look too interested :-)

It takes years for the boys to fill in with color and grow a full train.

Black Shoulder hens are actually white with tan and black markings..... and babies hatch out completely white.

This is a pair of Black Sholder chicks at about 6 months old. You can see that the male chick on the left is starting to get his colors. He should have most of his coloring by 12 months old. His train won't start coming in until around age 2 years.

An 8 month old Black Shoulder male..... feeling manly.

Here is a newly hatched Black Shoulder chick. It's hard to believe the color changes this baby is going to go through before he's full grown
